A Day at the Beach, Part the First

Down in middle of nowhere, OR to play with my usual light test model for the weekend, and brought along my new toy: The LumoPro 120 flash from MPEX.com. I’m not terribly used to working with small flashes, so it was a definite learning experience. Particularly learning to deal with a 6 second recharge time at full power. Even by the end of the night we were missing a lot of shots because I failed at counting to 6.

Used the light itself with no modifiers (umbrella ate f-stops like a beast), and a full and a half CTO gel over the front.
