Urban Fashion Photography in Portland

Had a guy call me up wanting to hire me to shoot some fashion-y portraits of him and his girlfriend in Portland. Met them at Lloyd Center and they took me to some abandoned lot saying “This is where we go to tag shit where the police won’t find it.” Needless to say I was a bit fearful I’d get shot, but things went off without a hitch and the location was pretty sweet (if only I could remember where exactly it was!).

I did some great stuff with him, but his girlfriend was a rock star in front of the camera.

Urban locations like this are a lot of fun, and a nice break from traditional portrait locations whether for personal use or business and advertising purposes. The definitely add a modern, commercial edge that you’re going to have a hard time getting at a park or in front of a pull down backdrop at Wal-Mart.
