Story

I’m Rebecca Getsfrid, and I’m a commercial portrait and editorial advertising photographer in Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon. It’s my goal to bring high quality commercial photography within the reach of businesses large and small who haven’t considered what great images can do to build their customer base and increase sales.

I formed this company after several years of working retail, being entirely unfulfilled in the process. I named the company after my dad who not only gave me my first job, but gave me every ounce of work ethic he’d built over his decades of business ownership. His dedication to customer service and good honest work is what inspires me to have that same work ethic when dealing with my clients. Where he polished floors to make sure his clients’ customers would approve once they were in the door, I create polished images in the hopes of getting new customers in the door in the first place.

My focus is on working light and fast, while reducing overhead to keep my costs and your costs within reason, and to do this without sacrificing quality at any stage of production. My favorite thing is working with so-called ‘normal’ people. The people who aren’t in front of a camera for a living. The people who swear up and down that they aren’t photogenic and have never seen a good picture of themselves. My favorite thing is when those ‘non-photogenic’ people see the photos I’ve made and that little smile creeps through as they realize how… well… how awesome they look. How professional they look. How their new photos project the image they’ve always wanted to project, but didn’t think they could.
